Story worth reading, if only to convince you never to fly US Air, and also because it does raise very interesting questions about corporate policies and the responsibilities to customers.

I'll post something real here again someday but right now I'm desperately busy with studying for my license exam.
Posted by ktismael at October 15, 2007 5:30 PMHey, good luck on the exam. Studying for a license exam is a pain; I just recently got a PE license. I'm sure you'll do fine, though--I remember the time you taught yourself the entire subject of Statics the night before the final.
Posted by: Kurt at October 21, 2007 9:31 AMYeah, I've actually started quite a bit ahead of that this time, though it is a bit harder, if only because half the questions don't make any sense.
And although I know you're probably well aware of this, I've been meaning to call you to see how you were for about 18 months now, but remain a shithead and am reminded of it every time I think about calling and its 1:32 in the morning. But seriously, soon maybe.
Posted by: ish at October 25, 2007 1:35 AMMesa/US Air was previously America West (Or America Worst as I call them). They had done this to me 4 times before I banned my travel agent from ever booking me on them again. My favourite time was when I was stuck in Phoenix because they cancelled my flight to Houston because of "mechanical problems". After looking into it and berating an employee I found out the truth... It was an 80 seat plane with 15 seats booked... They simply didnt want to fly it. After booking on 3 other airlines to eventually get me to Houston (At great expense) I did arrive 1 hour before my meeting after sleeping 3 hours in the Dallas airport. Needless to say, that was the last trip with them.
