A blogger who may or may not be named Andy has posted the first of a two part series on the serious problems plaguing the. I agree completely with his analysis so far, and as hockey is my favorite sport and a winter passtime I get great pleasure from, I hope these problems are resolved. The problems are not that Hockey is not the #1 sport in America (and I don't think it should be), but that in an attempt to make it more broadly marketable its soul is being lost.
