A quick call to action: If you consider the RIAA's war on file sharing as dangerous and counter-technology as I do, then don't let your tax dollars support it. Visit the Electronic Frontier Foundation's Action Center for the new Bill proposed in Congress.

My two cents on the RIAA as a piss poor bass player. Not to say that I am poor in a fiscal sense but in a talent sense.
The recording industry locks artist into deals that leave them with little options. The crazier thing is that every album you buy have about $.10 going to the actual artist and the rest being distributed about to mostly suit type people.
Now copy music is stealing by copyright law and I am not one to break the laws, but I can't stand the RIAA bitching that we are stealing from the artist when those that do copy aren't stealing much from the artist as much as the recording industry is anally raping the artist.
GRRRR.
