For those of you that haven't heard about it, tomorrow, Saturday November the 6th is the Bash at the Big House. Much more information than I could publish is available here.
The quick and dirty: Michigan Technological University (my alma mater) is hosting a Division-II football game against Grand Valley State. On its own, not very exciting, right? However, the game is being held at a stadium you may be familiar with in Ann Arbor, MI, in an attempt to break the Division II attendance record. Amazingly enough, both teams are pretty good this year, too (for Division II anyway.) Tech is still undefeated and ranked #7, Grand Valley is 7-2 and ranked #19. This is even more impressive when you consider that Tech's football program was cut completely in 2003 and revived with private money from donations.
It should be a good game and a fun time, especially for Alumni, as we rarely get a chance for the kind of big school gatherings that the UM's and MSU's (Or even WMU's) get. So if you're looking for something to do on Saturday afternoon, head on over. While they will be trying to break the record of 61,143, I'm pretty sure it won't be sold out.

Does anyone know when MTU football became division II? I could've sworn it was division III when I was there (and that wasn't *that* long ago, was it?).
Hey Ish, how's your novel coming along? Mine is not. But on the bright side, I'm almost done with a one act play.
I suck. I suck. I suck really bad.
Lenny's doing pretty good. Go check out his novel!
