I've been a Stratford festival fan for many years now. This season looks awesome. First is "As You Like It" Summer-Of-Love style with BNL soundtrack. And then William Hutt, who is incredible and still formidable in his 70s playing Prospero in "The Tempest". Any of my extended family theatre friends want to go on a trip with me? Early August?
SC4 Drama Ass, this means you, Dottie and Alfie and Chuck and Kerry!
Tech STA, this means you Andy and Lenny and Kristin and Karen and Laura!
Troupe, all of ya!
Sid and Z, come on down!
Hell, anyone who knows me and digs The Bard, join the caravan!

It's a possibility, as long as "Early August" translates to sometime after August 7th, which is when I fly back from L.A. (no, not the L.A. most people are thinking of).
I would love to go... I think it would be fun. I haven't seen a show in a long time. However, my parents won't be back from British Columbia until the end of August (25th, maybe?), so I will have 6 Bouviers at my house (4 are mine, 2 belong to my mother). If my parents were home, I could easily drop them all off in Port Huron and go on to Stratford. Maybe, I will just have to visit Chuck in Chicago and see something... that would be closer for me. But thank you for asking!
OK, Lee, next year I'll plan further in advance.
(OK, I'm lying of course, but next year I'll make someone else plan further in advance.)
Hopefully my email thread will get us talking about dates that work. Also those of you that already know you can't make it can shoot me an email and I'll make sure you're taken off the discussion. (Got you Lee, though I don't understand why you can't bring the dogs along. Well, that is a lot of tickets I guess.)
I'm in, just tell me when! August should be open, except of course for the Troupe weekend.
I live half an hour from Stratford. I'm in!
